The cutest hound in town is looking for a fun-loving, active home! If you want a happy-go-lucky fellow who loves his people, Walker is your guy.




This one year old, 55 lb Treeing Walker Coonhound was rescued from the local shelter. Walker is a smart boy and is making quick progress with training and manners. He sits on command and is working on polite leash-walking. He needs lots of room to romp and play. Small children are not ideal, since he might accidentally knock them down. Walker will need some time put into his training, but you’ll spend a lot more time laughing at this funny guy’s antics and big voice. Walker will also make a good guard dog with his big bark. He is a little slow at warming up to strangers, so his potential family will need to be patient in teaching him that new people are his friends.
